The essence of Internet in modern era is definitely quite significant, as nowadays somehow or the other most of us are very much reliable on its source to complete our daily needs. Apart from that its importance in all domains of a nation, in its professional, personal, educational and administrative matters, without a doubt made it an integral part of development.

Unlike earlier, nowadays in developing countries like ours, the government sectors including the Executive or Legislative departments, in almost all cases are fully dependent on Internet technology for their day to day work. Especially, the defence sectors of a nation, for several confidential matters are technically reliable on web support to accomplish their mission. Similarly, other administrative departments are also carrying out their daily work through Internet. Particularly, with the introduction of the idea of Globalization, which is connecting the world under an umbrella, the acceptance and necessity to get things done in much convenient way has resulted into the use of computer and modern technology.

We are so much dependent on Internet in the present era that spending a day without Internet means not only subject to personal difficulties but a great hindrance towards development. Since, most of the BSSI sectors including Banks conduct their day to day work through web support, transfer funds and solve other financial matters via internet; therefore the importance of web facility is rising every day.

Going beyond the basic needs of life, in modern days we are also very much reliable to stay up - to - date about any happenings around us, whether in sports or politics; more or less we look for information on several websites and social media. Hence, our necessity to some extent has compelled us to be acquainted with the concept of Internet. Apart from that, students of modern days are quite dependent on technology for their educational matters; rather the educational structure of our country has taken a new turn which demands students to stay updated all the time about all possible aspects of lives. Thus, as a result Internet became a vital part of education for the students as well for the institutions.

Indian government is now trying to educate maximum number of the citizens about modern technology and importance of using computer. Without a doubt, the ability of using Internet has helped us to progress further and with time it will grow more beyond one’s imagination. Thus, an attempt has been made to educate Indian farmers to realize the importance of Internet. It is believed that upon grasping the process, the farmers will be highly benefited in their profession.

However, discussing the significance of Internet on our lives would be a never ending process, as we are in each and every step of life dependent on technology. But, while being so progressive often in contrast to that we act very viciously and set some cruel illustration of some destructive acts. Thereby, Internet too, does have its negative sides, although it is we, the humans who decide to use it either in the progressive or demolishing manners.

Considering the fact that human being is regarded as the smartest creature of the world for their superior activity, any destructive action conducted by us will be a matter of shame. We must take the full advantage and also the responsibility of making only positive use of technology for the growth and prosperity of the society and other the living creature on Earth.
