My New Year 2018

I just had a perfect start off to the New Year “2018” with a day full of delicious food and a lot of fun. Having spent a long time at home, around six months, I became kind of obsessive for a change. And the picnic on the New Year had the perfect reason to refresh my mood. In fact on the last day of 2017 I had no idea about the surprise-picnic that was lying ahead on the very next “New Year day “. I was really thrilled after Nabab da informed me about the program and I became so emotional that couldn’t hold my emotion and as usual emotion led me towards a trouble. My over excitement about joining the picnic just ended up being into a messy situation while having tried to get a haircut by my one. However I was lucky enough to manage the situation with a following visit to the barber and finally started our journey with Lal Da, his wife and their only newly born baby.

Quite inevitably it was a spell-bound moment for me. First of all I was able to explore the city after so many days and on top of that it gave me the pleasure to be in my most familiar place after so long. As expected I was overwhelmed seeing my office staff and the presence of Nabab Da’s son Zico, who is quite fond of me, literary doubled my joy. We shared the lunch table together with Zico, Babun Da, me and lastly we were joined by the most humorous person, Manas Da. The dishes were quite amazing for me and Zico as both of us are quite foodie and especially when there was mutton nothing can stop us. We two were on fire and being into an unannounced food competition of having maximum numbers of prone and mutton pieces.

Having enjoyed so many delicious foods, I headed up to one of my best places in Shyamnagar that is “Shyamnagar tarun Sangha ground” where I for some unknown reason feel very much connected and happy. Beyond my imagination I was greeted and wished by all the young footballers and guardians that I almost forgot my real purpose to be there at Shyamnagar. I also exchanged words with the coaches and young players who were truly surprised and excited to see me after so many days. Spending around more than an hour at STS ground it was time for me to go to my office and do a little bit of gossiping and work with my colleagues cum brothers. Genuinely speaking I was very happy to be back at the office after so many months and being among all my people.

Considering my character, it is never possible that I would go to the office and come back without doing any work. So, even thou my stay at the office was barely for an hour but I did some good amount of work which was pretty important. At last around 7.30 pm we left for sodepur and the journey in Lal Da’s car and the funny conversation among us while we were coming back to sodepur kidney washed away all my tiredness and made me feel very energetic and around 9 Pm I reached home.

Following a stressful day when I was finally back home, it gave me so much pleasure to be able to share my happiness with my parents and brother while having our dinner that I can’t explain in words. And after all I was off to bed around 11.30, being into a state of experiencing a headache-full early morning
the very next day, as we had a match in Murshidabad on 2nd January 2018.

Early morning journey for any outstation match is always demands some sincere effort from my end and one of them is waking up very early in the morning and start calling our players to ensure everything should be on place and time. My expectation turned out quite genuine as I got the first call for Murshidabad tour early morning at 5.00 am on 2nd January, from jagannath oraon, and then just stayed busy for next 4 hours over phone for different reasons.
