There is a say that
honesty and humbleness are the two most salient features of human character which
cannot be expected from many. In our daily lives we come across several small
incidents that help us realize about the mentality of others. For say, waiting
for our friends at dinner table until they finish their food or offering help
to those who are in needs in any manner, are a few instances that reflects one’s mindset. If we
go through the biographies of famous personnel like, Mahatma Gandhi, Mother
Teresa, Sir APJ Abdul Kalam, then we would certainly find one thing common in
their characters which is kindness. Kindness, honesty and humbleness are
closely interrelated and one is supplement of the other. Thus, having the deficiency
of any of these three characteristic features in any human being may cause
disruption to the way of greatness.
Somehow it is being realized
that with time the percentage of these essential sides of human character are
relatively getting lesser in our youth generation. As consequence jealousy and hatred
are filling up the young mind. Several terrorist activities and the prevailing international
confrontations for the sake of achieving nuclear supremacy over the weaker one
has thus become a common phenomenon in the modern world.
The time has come when we
must work together to overcome this serious crisis and establish peace. The
task may not be that easy but with kindness and honesty for each other we will
for sure be able to instil harmony and prosperity everywhere sooner rather than later.
