It
has been around two months that I am in Kalyani and literally got the chance to work
with more than 80 boys of Patha Chakra and United Sports Club. Being the
manager of these two clubs I have also got the privilege to work with them in daily basis. Pn the other hand my work responsibilities have given me the opportunity to get to know each of the
player from a neutral vantage point of view. I have also learnt about the
problems of each of their lives which has certainly helped me to figure out the actually character of the players. In some cases where from the perspective of a general
person a footballer may be considered guilty for their rude behavior or their tendency to play khep, after spending so much of time and some special moments with them, which
contains both sorrow and happiness, I can for sure now say that at least I have
learnt the job of managing each of them very tactically without hearting their
emotion.
As
most of the footballers come from families which are economically not stable
and likewise do not have much educational qualification, therefore often they are
misjudged by many of us. In order to get the best of them we need to behave properly with them like their elder brother whom they can rely upon. Footballers for
some irrational factor are in most of the cases being deemed as
rude and mien. But in reality the fact is quite opposite; in fact it is the
club management whose irrational behaviour towards footballers instils negative
considerations in players mind. Thus, I feel if players can be treated properly by
the clubs then a smooth relationship between club and player will be an inevitable factor.
