Ranu Manadl, perhaps a name which almost most of us are aware of. The story of Ranu Mandal, is not just about a singer’s success in Bollywood but an inspiration for all those who devote all their time and energy for something which he/she is passionate about. Ranu Mandal’s success story once again proves it that true love and passion can certainly take one at the mountain of success regardless of his/her age. Singing was not just an option to Ranu Mandal, it was something much more than that to her. At the early age when her husband died and her daughter also deserted her for her relentless passion towards singing and her decision to sing at Ranaghat Platform, Ranu never lost her passion for singing.

She  could have easily chosen any other profession to earn her living and maintained a stable relationship with her daughter. However, she didn’t sacrifice her passion against the whim of her daughter who wanted her to quit singing. In fact if we consider the entire fact from the perspective of the daughter of Mrs. Mandal, then perhaps most of us would feel there was reasonable reason behind the anger of Ranu’s Daughter. No child in the world would like to see their parents to sing and beg at the station. But, above all we must consider the willingness of Ranu who despite all the odds never lost her passion towards singing. She proved quite firmly that if somebody loves to do something from bottom of heart then success is an inevitable part of their life. It is true that it took little longer for her to get success and happiness in life but eventually she achieved everything for which she shall be envied by many.

Her story of success also makes us realize the salient features of social media which made her popular almost overnight. Facebook, which most of us regard as a useless medium in our life, significantly played a major role for her remarkable achievement. To be honest, Ranu Mondal’s story in no way less dramatic than any Bollywood movie which has got all twist and turn of life in it. In one hand life puts her into the worst situation when she had lost her husband in her early age and forced to be back to her hometown with no other option but to beg at railway platform and on the other when she seemed to have thought life has got nothing to offer her, she was surplus with prosperity and success.

Truly speaking, life is unpredictable; no one knows what is waiting for us tomorrow. Like Ranu, who could have never ever imagined in her wildest dream even a night before her video got viral on social media that she could be a star next morning. It is always too early to say life has deprived us, we must remember that there is something good waiting for all of us ahead. We should invariably remain optimistic and motivate everybody to pursue their passion. Life has its own terms to eventually take us to explore the best side of it.
