Football and Unity

Football is a platform that unites people under the same umbrella. It begins with a team that consists of all the players from different religions. While playing for same team it teaches players to co-operate with each other irrespective of their religion and cultural barriers. Footballers of different religions and cultures have to share room with his/her co-players. This common practice certainly inculcates discipline and unity in the players.

Football, in fact any sports, helps to build unity between different sports personnel, where neither language nor religion can create any wall of differentiation between the players with the excuse of religion. Sports are the only means which can bind all of us together through its passion. It is a common phenomenon in a football game where players from different countries play together to achieve their ultimate goal. Be it Hindu, Muslim or Christian players stand by their teammates in every situation in and off the field.

Almost, in every school in European country it is mandatory for every student to enrol for any sporting activity. It is nothing but a sublime endeavour to instil unity in the students from very early age of their lives. In 21^st century when the entire world is trying to bring a global bonding above all the barriers of religion and culture, sports can surely be the instrument to bring about that global unity.
