Hindu - Muslims riot in India

It all started with partition of our nation when Hindu and Muslims divided based on their religions. Ever since, although Muslims got their separate nation Pakistan, many Muslims opted to stay in India. Initially things were looking normal between Hindu and Muslims but with time it turned out to be a vicious riot. Before independence it was the persuasion of British which led to a conflict between them. Muslims were feeling jeopardised among the majority Hindus; they had the fear of losing out of opportunity due to their minor population. This insecurity and on other hand taking advantage of numerical supremacy Hindus took the upper hand in most of social as well as professional arena which eventually perpetuates clash between them.

It has been 73 years that India has obtained freedom, yet the conflict between Hindu and Muslims continued till date. It is a common phenomenon to witness scattered clashes between these two religious people and politicians are always there to encourage them to keep the problem alive. It is believed that the prolonged clash between Hindu and Muslim is to some extent a man-made crisis to fulfil the purpose of a certain class of our society where people from both religions are actively involved.

Looking back to history, we can find innumerable cases where innocent people died in Hindu-Muslims riots. Most importantly the objective of such riots are not at all have any fundamental base, people from mostly underprivileged classes attack each other to just fuel up a minor issue related to religious value of both sides. In some other occasions the dirty conspiracies of politicians provoke the followers of both religions to fight against each other. In the name of religion brutality takes place where children and women are not even shown any mercy.

Despite our insight about the value of our own religion we don’t feel reluctant to engage in a fight against others, who have been living with us for so many decades, just because of their separate religious believe. In true means religion teaches us to be kind to others and help each other to make the Earth a better living place, but unfortunately submerging all our idolism we plunged into a conflict that has no fundamental value in our religion constitution.

It is utterly surprising that in the present days when we have made such a remarkable progress in every sphere of life, still people are fighting revolving the religious issues. Mostly, the underprivileged and unlettered people are the one through whom the conspiracy geared up and gradually make a simple issue to a national headline. One of the several facts that triggered tension among different religion groups is when their ego is hurt from the religious perspective which in turn begets clash and that slowly turn into riot. There are incidents when Temple, Mosque and many other religious places are being attacked and eventually that come to the forefront of news. Violence begets violence, so as soon as a Temple is being attacked, the Mosque becomes the target in counter which only rise the tension between the groups.

The job, to fix the issue between Hindu and Muslim is not as easy as it seems to be, anyway, little bit of patience and compassion of ours can certainly change things around. One of the salient factors in this respect can be educating people in true means. Nowadays, educated people lack empathy in their approach to others which is one of major reasons why there are countless of brutal cases taking place so frequently. Extending compassion to the needy and vulnerable group can change their purview towards lives and other related aspects to it. Besides, spreading education among the rural and underprivileged people can open a new horizon for them. This endeavour of educating rural people would also help them to realize the essence of religion and life in true means which would in turn help to alleviate petty crimes and conflicts pertain to religious matters.
