Men & Power

Men’s perpetual endeavor to captor power has been going on since the ancient time. But none could succeed to hold power forever. So many came and faded away according to the rule of time yet men’s desire to be the most powerful never ends. The entire world perhaps trail by the same rule of capturing power and there lies all the route of problem and tension. Men seem to be never satisfied with what he has; his longing to gain more and more eventually leads him to destruction.

No man in history could ever restrain power and all kingdoms of kings eventually saw the dark side of fame sooner or later with time. Power is never followed by peace, it invariably leads men to annihilation but men are likely to be addicted by the aura of fame and power so blindly that he can die for it. Men never give value to time; when he had the power and when time favored him; he turned relentless. But when time showed its power to men, men appeared so helpless and lost all the pride and power that he bore for so long.

With time so many came and so many shattered but men’s endeavor to gain power never stops. The addiction of men is that strong that death itself could not restrain men from the practice. Nothing could nor can, stop men to follow power; men are ready to sacrifice all they have got to grab it, even if it takes him to behead his counterpart. The aura of power is strong and intense that men can do anything and everything to make it his own, he loves it so intensely that he is ready to lose his own existence in the cost of fame. Thus, men’s blind endeavor for fame may last forever as long time and tide remain.

  1. It's not your best of what you've delivered but no less either. In a succinct way you've showed us how power is the diet that men habitually drunk on it consume it more n more till he becomes besotted and falls out of balance. quite true, starting from Julius Caesar who as u know banished the other two rivals to capture throne but little did he know what fate had preplanned for him, then raavana, for example. drunk on unhinged power he committed crimes which compel no sympathy at the door of death and met his nemesis subsequently and it's equally true of our politics and regular life, those who have thought of themselves as the end unto themselves have disintegrated, a very case in point is mughal empire where it once stretched from Kabul to Bengal and to parts of south , such a vast sq km of land which was literally snatched away from another set of invaders, the British when mughals assured of their godly power exerted ruthless crimes on the public. So yes your writing has all the spices a good writing warrants and that's why I definitely like it and your simple use of language is very endearing especially it doesn't create any problems figuring out whether you're accusing or praising someone.
