Education to bring nationalism

It seems in the present time our nation is driven by some intoxication of the concept of revolutionaries. We are all apparently motivated by a vague concept that in every moment prompts us to make our stand unique that too by loud proclamation in public. It is true that somewhere there is a remarkable transformation in the Socio-Economic structure of our nation and for most of us it’s quite impossible to realize if that transformation can really bring about good for us. This prevailing confusion in the society often begets violation and revolution among different classes of public and political parties.

While, analyzing such an important issue we must delve into the root to find out the reason of the problem and to me it is nothing but the inefficient education system of our nation which largely fell incompetent to bring awareness in mass.  Since the majority of students of our nation take schooling from government education system, it has become necessary to put light on the fact that how a large number of student coming out of government school fail to withstand the competition of job market. Besides, the major set-back that the government schools nation-wide established do not have a common language for communication at national or international level that can bind the country through a common thread. The state governments of different states all across India only emphasize on regional language and never consider the bigger picture in mind.

If we talk about Bengal, here Bengali as regional language given the first preference but English being the second language is never given that priority. As a consequence we see that most students of government schools can’t speak English or write English even up to a certain level. The fear that they possess revolving the subject eventually withholds their prosperity in life, and which also has large impact on the growth and prosperity of the nation. As we know that only established or certified education system can’t grow a person, there are many factors that actually motivate a person to make his or her mark separately in our nation or worldwide.

Now, if we think about the people who worked relentlessly in past like, Ram Mahan, Vivekananada or Vidyasagar to bring change in our society, we can find one thing common in them that was they all had the passion to establish a society which would be free of prejudice and superstations. They mostly gave priority to establish a proper education system in the society that can bring awareness, whereas in modern era those who are at power or have the ability to bring changes, are so self-centric and less passionate about brining prosperity in society that development has been greatly thwarted .

Here, it is noteworthy that it is due to the filthy government education system that a large number of students fall back as they are found in maximum cases unable to express their view when it comes to communicate in front of larger audience from all across nation. They just follow the path that the leader of national level asks them to follow; they never make an endeavor to raise their voice against something which is morally incorrect. It may sound cranky but it is true that in most occasions it is language that become a barrier for them to express their liberate view in national level.

I believe, with the advent of a proper education system a lot changes would follow the path of prosperity on our way. When a large number of people who are so far left out from expressing their view or raising voice against corruption or wrong doing their active participation in the awareness of society can bring about a major changes in the national level of the nation. Proper education system will enable people to express their view and distinguish between good or bad at a holistic level. Last but not least, a large number of people who by nature are honest and have seen struggle in life their participation in active manner can give a clear indication to the corrupted leaders that their time to mislead the country is about to get over and now the nation would see a new dawn with full of prosperity and progress holding their hand.
