Impact of Lock-down on lives

It has been around five months that the lock-down is followed all across our nation in different manners set-out by government and it is likewise, needlessly to mention that it has a profound impact almost in every spheres of our lives. First and foremost the long prevailing lockdown has persuaded the lives of children in an immense manner. Schools, playgrounds are closed for several months and that has led to a dramatic change in the daily schedule of their lives. In recent days private schools although are trying to attach their students with regular educational activities through online classes, however, that ratio is so less that almost more than ninety percent children of our nation are still believed to be out of regular school guidance.

Initially, things were taken lightly and was expected that soon the better time would arrive, when kids shall again have the privilege to live their lives in a normal manner. But it is quite unfortunate that despite so long and nothing seems to be clear ahead, lives of children are at stake in terms of playing and studying with full liberty. Besides, this lockdown has had a rigorous influence on the entire education system as examinations; test and many other assignments are on hold for an uncertain period of time due to this pandemic.

It is true that things at present are beyond the control of anyone the only remedy that might save us from this vicious disease is our self-awareness. Yet, having said it, I must mention the fact where thousands of underprivileged people from all across the nation are suffering to meet the very basic amenities for survival; it is looks quite difficult to be maintained the protocols in a strict manner. Things turned out to be really challenging for people who have to rely on their daily wages to run their families. They are facing the toughest phase as the days are increasing in numbers for lockdowns. So long, they had to some extent received aids from several non-profitable organizations including our own government, nonetheless, as cited before with time that help is also getting lesser for them.

The whole situation appears to be in a jigsaw while neither the government can fully ignore the lockdown nor can establish it forcefully on public. There is no denial of the fact that due to this pandemic there has been a noticeable change in our daily lives as well, there is restriction in our free movements and thus, it has grown frustration in the mind of all.

Not only in the personal lives but the ongoing lockdown has a vicious persuasion on regular business and due to that directly or indirectly people from almost all background are suffering massively. I must not evade the fact that this lockdown not only had impacted our lives in past but it too will have a long-standing negative impact both on our lives and culture in future. Now it is only time to follow the guidelines of the governments and expecting that the good time would come soon.

  1. Very accurate read indeed. So much to say here but is all controlled by a bloated virus playing havoc with all our lives and most rudely with those of the less privileged. What you said about the trouble of children having their studies disrupted is very worrying. In fact this will have an adverse impact on their innocent and pliant mind which further estrange them from studies and push them to flipperies. Those concerns you've raised are very real and we'll all do our best to educate these children near known to us. Speaking of the less privileged, the government has fielded aides and grants but they have to be more unstinted because no one can tell how long this nightmare of a pandemic will hover around the horizon. Lets all pray that our doctors and virologists soon come up with a weapon to speedily rid our beautiful world of this infernal virus.
