Impact of Smart Phone on our lives

There is no denial of the fact that in the contemporary world ‘Smart Phone ‘is an integral part of our lives. Regardless of age, almost the entire civilization at present somehow or the other is dependent on it. Undoubtedly, with the inception of Smart Phones life has become more entertaining for all of us.  From waking up in the morning with the alarm of our phone and thereafter throughout the day using it for different reasons, until our bed time, we vigorously depend upon our smart phones. It is also true that smart phone has made our lives more convenient. Now from booking air ticket to stay up to date about what is happening all across the globe is quite viable with the help of our smart phones. Apart from all other aspects we use our phones as a tool to upgrade our lives mainly in education sector. Unlike past, these days we do not only access internet to seek information through laptop or desktop but smart phone has indeed made it more convenient for us. While walking or traveling we can easily access internet through our mobiles and can be updated about any information we are looking for.

Since, it is quite known to us that every aspect of our life has two sides, that is negative and positive. Thus, while we mentioned so much about the positive aspects of smart phone, now we must turn the coin and focus on the negative sides of it. It is a very common phenomenon that many youths are losing their lives while trying to take selfies in front of a running trains or from top of a building. Such occurrences are not only common in India but all over the world. Just like, smart phone has helped us to stay connected with our friends and family members who stay aboard; it has also made us its servant. It is really surprising that now when we are so much keen to make friends on social media,we are gradually losing connection with our childhood friends who may just stay in the neighborhood.

Many of us may have noticed that two friends who are traveling together in train are busy with their own smart phones and they feel it barely necessary to continue with a physical conversation than the digital one. Notwithstanding, we are living in the modern world but due to our overwhelming obsession towards Smart phones, it took us back to Homo Habilis era when our ancestors used to walk with their head bent.  Our natural habit of surfing internet while walking on the road  apparently gave us a similar physical appearance like our predecessors Homo Habilis, which not only affect our habit but also causes many physical problems to us.

Moreover, considering its both negative and positive impact on our civilization smart phone, in true means has become an utmost necessary to all of us. But while only looking for its positive aspects we should not be over dependent on it and must realize the fact that the ultimate purpose to innovate smart phone to ease our lives thus, we must ensure it should not bring about any hazards or unpleasant fact in our lives.
